About

I write for the quiet that lives underneath a busy life.

For most of my years I chased the things we are told to chase — results, position, the next achievement. I worked through the night and called it dedication. Then, in my forties, almost everything I had built fell apart at once. A financial crisis. My health. The slow realisation that I had been absent from the people I loved most while I was busy being successful.

What put me back together was not another strategy. It was something far older and far simpler: the practice of slowing down, of returning to a single breath, of meeting my own mind with a little more kindness. I found it in the Buddhist and Zen traditions I had grown up around in Thailand but never truly listened to.

These books are my attempt to hand that practice to you in plain, modern language — no robes, no jargon, no need to believe anything. Just clear, practical calm for a noisy world.

If your mind feels too loud and your days feel too fast, you are in the right place. Welcome.
